Interesting Lefty Editorial

Maybe it's because I just quit my job that I have things to post here, all of a sudden.

I finally looked at the Working Assets site and found all kinds of good lefty commentary.

I especially dug this piece: The dangers of a 'what the heck' vote by Robert Scheer. About how if Bush actually wins the popular election this time around (unlike last time) what kind of mandate that is for him to invade any country he feels like invading, no matter how shakey the evidence is.

Kicks that make sense

I am a Nikehead...but the folks at Ad Busters are way cool and we have to support their effort to make sneakers that we can feel good about wearing. A Chuck knockoff was a good choice.

RIP

Break "Flor Kilah" (Zagreb) the best breakdancer in Croatia and one of the best in all Europe.

Atem.AP.TAK (USA) - a freight great, gone

Fist.GPK (USA) - an accidental heroin overdose claimed a very young man in his prime.

Word to the wise: Even smoking heroin can kill you and it kills your life and happiness first. Don't let it make a fool (or a corpse) of you.
