This hip-hop legend's been through enough, and I somehow doubt he's a security threat.

The more things change the more they stay the same:
"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know ? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar."

Happy Birthday Art Crimes!
Against all odds, Art Crimes is still going strong after 8 great years online. September 4, 1994 was the day we announced the first pictures of graffiti on the Internet. Yes, we were the first, but we are in great company today with more than 3000 other graffiti sites now online. Our goals for the coming year are to become self supporting and to link to most of those other sites.
Thanks so much for all the love you've given us over the years.
