Persistent Data Manager
The Persistent Data Manager allows you to control Galeon's behavior with regards to cookies, image loading from individual sites, and automically-saved username/password pairs.
It can be accessed through the View cookies..., View cookie sites..., View image sites..., View passwords..., and View password sites... items in the Tools Menu, through the Image Sites... button on the Filtering page of the Preferences window, or through the Cookies..., Cookie Sites..., Passwords..., and Password Sites... buttons on the Persistent Data page of the Preferences window.
Cookies
The list in the left half of this page displays the originating servers and names of all the cookies that Galeon is currently storing. When you select a cookie in this list, its information is displayed in the fields to the right. You can remove the currently selected cookie by clicking the Remove Cookie button, removed and block in by clicking the Remove and Block Cookie, or remove all cookies by clicking the Remove All Cookies button.
Cookie Sites
The list on this page displays all of the servers for which Galeon has a cookie policy. The Status field contains either Blocked, for servers from which all cookies will be refused; or Allowed, for servers from which all cookies will be accepted. These policies are set based upon your decisions in the cookie acceptance dialog boxes, and the use of the Allow Cookies from this Site and Block Cookies from this Site items in the Settings menu. You can remove a single site's policy by selecting it in the list and clicking the Remove Site button, or remove all sites' policies by clicking the Remove All Sites button.
Galeon's default behavior for accepting cookies can be set on the Persistent Data page of the Preferences window.
Image Sites
This page allows you to control Galeon's policy when loading images from individual servers in a manner similar to that of the Cookie Sites page.
Passwords
The page allows you to view and manipulate username/password pairs that are being stored by Galeon, in a manner similar to that of the Cookie Sites page.
Password Sites
This page allows you to control Galeon's policy when saving username/passwords pairs in a manner similar to that of the Cookie Sites page. Username/password pairs will not be saved for any site included in this listing.
Galeon's default behavior for saving passwords can be set in the Persistent Data page of the Preferences window.
