The Training sessions available at the UNTPDC
Interactive Multimedia Training Center (IMTC) are supported by
pictures, Quick Time movies, sounds, 3D animation, JAVA and VRML. In
order to follow training sessions at the UNTPDC-IMTC it is
recommendable to have a high-bandwidth connection, (for example, Local
Area Network or 56 Kbs link), or at least a 28.8 kbps modem. Due to
large inlined images, you may experience slight delays in receiving
pages. Some browsers, (e.g NETSCAPE) allow to view portions of the page
before the entire page finishes downloading. Some training sessions
require the latest version of NETSCAPE and external viewers (e.g GO
EDRIVE Movie Viewer).
