Since the introduction of Mosaic in early 1993, the World Wide Web has seen a level of growth remarkable even in the fast-moving world of high technology. Currently, some 5 million users "surf" the W eb, exploring information made available by over 30,000 Web servers. As of early 1995, the number of Web servers was doubling every two months. As Web popularity continues to explode, companies are scrambling to develop a presence on the World Wide Web. T o get onto the Web, however, you must first connect to the Internet.
