VILPPULA

Welcome to Vilppula!

If you think that the clean blue lakes, brawling rapids and steep ridges are the most fascinating elements of the Finnish nature, then Vilppula is certainly one of the places you should pay a visit.

Surrounded by waters and hills, Vilppula is one of the most beautiful small towns in Finland.

Vilppula lies in the northeastern corner of Tampere Region, on the northern borderline of the province, some 85 kilometers away from Tampere, capital of the region. Vilppula is a charming combination of modern and traditional: the rural sceneries with lakes, fields and forestes lie in the two outer villages right outside the vivid towncenter.
