MOUHIJÄRVI Mouhijärvi is a lively community with a population of 3000. It is located in the south-east corner of Pirkanmaa. Mouhijärvi has fast connections to the biggest cities of Finland: 215 km to Helsinki, 41 km to Tampere, 125 km to Hämeenlinna and 150 km to Turku. It is situated in the idyllic surroundings of Simontila. Lohilampi, salmon lake, offers you the opportunity to try your luck in fishing. If you are engulfed by the spirit of wilderness, the Salontalo croft will be happy to offer you accommodation. This place is away from other settled areas, which means it can offer you unpolluted and clean environment, ideal for picking berries, mushrooms and natural herbs.
