This fix should take care of that. 4058675 - On certain SGI IRIX NFS servers with "metadisk" filesystems (filesystems striped across two or more disks), SNC 3.1 is often unable to see any directories or files in these exported partitions. The unusually large offsets in these SGI metafilesystems are the source of our problems -- the d_off members of the dirent structs are huge, triggering a safety check that limits them to 32bit *signed* values. 4094277 On certain conditions, Win95 would appear to hang upon shutdown This patch is packaged as a self-extracting compressed file (10533402.exe). It must be installed from Windows95. The setup program backs up the original file(s). It then installs the new file(s) and a patch uninstall utility. The file (sunwnfsd.vxd) is located in the system directory of where you have Win95 installed. To install, download 10533402.exe to a temporary directory on the PC. In Windows95 , select "Run" from the "Start" menu. Enter the path and patch filename (Example: c:\temp\10533402) then select "OK". The patch will uncompress and start the setup program automatically. Follow the setup program prompts to complete the patch installation. Restart Windows95. Patch Removal Instructions: In Windows95 click "Start". Then select "Programs", "Patch 10533402" and click on "uninstallSHIELD". WARNING - The patch uninstall program restarts Windows95 at the end of the uninstall process. Installation Notes: All drive letter and directory name references are Solstice Network Client defaults. If you have installed Solstice Network Client or the patch file on a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your drive and directory names in the example commands above.
