Short: TFMX-7v module by Marx Marvelous/TPPI Uploader: marxmarv mokkori jcic org Architecture: generic Author; marxmarv@mokkori.jcic.org Uploader: marxmarv@mokkori.jcic.org This is another TFMX-7v mod (yes, another) by other than the great Chris Huelsbeck. It's by me. =:^) Songs: * Pre-Flight Check This was the song I was most happy with in this module. It just worked better than Happy People (the first of these tunes) and more substantial than Hall of Fame. * Happy People First song I wrote in this module. Written before I developed a better system for composing (involving tape recorders and whistling =:^) ). * Hall of Fame (wimpy ProTracker version available) An absolutely cool little song that would be excellent for use on some "Enter Your Name" high-score screen. Also makes great background music for coding if you happen to have the processor power to play it. Some samples were synthesized with Christian Stiens' FMsynth (available elsewhere on AmiNet)... in fact, were stock patches. This song was produced with a modified TFMX-Pro. Yes, I did the modifications myself, and no, copies are not available (partly because it's an even worse and sometimes flakier hack than the original editor). The music-editor quasi-project is on again! My new user interface code works nicely now and the whole thing _won't_ be finished by fall 1995. (It will be finished, though; there will eventually be a PC port; and it will 99.9% likely go by yet another different name.) If you want music for your game or demo (Amiga only, until I do the PC editor) or if you just want to comment, then contact: J. Pickard 149 Olive St. #45 Paso Robles, CA 93446 USA marxmarv@mokkori.jcic.org (checked every week or so) +1 805 2399518 (2000-0300 GMT, if possible, and if the old woman answers, make sure to have her read back your number if you want me to return your call) I have medium-speed delivery (this mod took about a week before I was fully happy with it) and try to squeeze every bit of nuance out of a given kilobyte of sample (this latter is the reason I don't generally use ProTracker). As you can see here, I've done a fairly good job for not having a sampler in working order. =:^) Thanx to: Beastie Boys (Polly Wog Stew _rocks_), Cal Poly State University, Michelle Harper, Heidi McFarland, Niffer the Supreme, Peter Kunath (write damn you! =:^) ), Jacob Ellis, and Brother Kinz.
