GENERAL BACKGROUND:
The company, established in 1957, employs some 450 persons and has recently been located at new premises where a more modern and bigger plant has been constructed, mainly for export production.
Production in the new plant commenced in January 1995 and will double the previous output to over 2000 units per day.
PRODUCTS AND FINISHED QUALITY:
Ladies and girls outer clothing e.g. dresses, blouses, skirts, slacks, jackets of high quality finish. It is intended to broaden the product range with sleepwear and some styles of underwear in the new plant.
RAW MATERIALS:
100% cotton 120 grams per square metre 84 x 66 or 30-N.E.
Also available is 100% cotton twills of 150 grams and over.
If requested by customer, a fabric of 50/50 can be supplied, and other types of material can be imported for re-export.
QUALITY:
Due to our long experience in exporting to European markets, we have developed a total up-to-date quality control system and procedures comparable to European standards.
We are continuously and conscientiously being sought to improve our ability to deliver goods and services within the customer's legitimate quality expectation.
LABELS:
Supplied to customer's specification.
DELIVERY POSITION AND LEAD TIME:
A close co-operation with the Importer is desired in order to meet requested delivery times. Lead times can be arranged between 3 and 6 weeks from fabric delivery and promised delivery dates have always been reliable.
European customers visit Zimbabwe 2-3 times per year, buying print designs, booking bulk fabrics from the mill, then discussing manufacturing production facilities with the manufacturers.
MINIMUM ORDERS:
No minimum order is requested; however a minimum run of 1000 units is preferred.
PACKING DETAILS:
Flat packed in boxes of 50-100 garments per box or as per customer specifications.
Customer's request for packing plastic can be met.
PRICES:
We operate a relatively low cost labour intensive factory and thus our prices are very competitive, but subject to style detail and customer specifications.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Upon receipt of goods.
For new customers: Letter of Credit.
