INDUSTRIAL FACTOR COSTS

1. CORPORATE TAX:
	- Manufacturing industries:	15%
	- Commercial activities:	25%

2. MINIMUM WAGES:

45 hours working week. Unskilled labour is at P 1,35 per hour minimum for manufacturing. Overtime pay at time and a half.

3. FUEL (PETROL & DIESEL):
	- Diesel (Mogas) Collect = P 81.30	Sales Tax = P 6.00
	- Petrol (Mogas) Collect = P 88.60	Sales Tax = P 11.00

4. LAND:

Estimated price of industrial land at different localities is as follows:

P 46.00 p.s.m.	P 22.50 p.s.m.	P 27.00 p.s.m.	P 35.00 p.s.m.

Botsana Development Corporation (BDC) factory shells of 4,000 s.m. are available at approximately P 7.50 p.s.m. rental per month.

4. POWER:

Power is supplied from the national grid. Adequate supplies are available even for large scale industrial consuption. Power connection is given upon submission of bank signed guarantee forms available from BPC; Letter of offer to rent factory and signed agreement. Prior to installation, a deposit is paid according to the following schedule:

Monthly tariff is charged according to consumption.
