 Government, banking and industry hours are Monday and
 Tuesday 8:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm and
 Wednesday to Friday 8:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 6:00
 pm.  Commerce hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 12:30
 pm and 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

 Travel Advisory and Notes

 U.S. citizens must have visas and inoculations against
 yellow fever. Typhoid, tetanus and gamma globulin
 immunizations are strongly recommended.  Capeverdean
 escudos are not convertible outside the country.

 Business Infrastructure

 Regular direct flights connect Sal island with New York,
 Washington, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro.  Direct
 flights link Praia with Dakar, Bissau and Banjul. Scheduled
 domestic air service connects Sal, Praia and Mindelo with
 most of the other islands.  International shipping
 companies make regular stops at Mindelo and Praia.  Small
 vessels operate inter-island services.
