Ever get tired of trying to figure out what numbers to dial when you see
those cute 800 numbers such as 1-800-SOS-APPL? Now you can easily decode
the numbers with this handy shareware application from Maui Software.

Instructions:

・ Double-click on a number in the list to decode it.

・ The phone list in 800-SAY-WHAT is built from a text file called
メphone
listモ that must reside in the same folder as the application
800-SAY-WHAT.
Open the file メphone listモ with SimpleText and add more
numbers to the file.
The last character must be a carriage-return. If you use another
application to edit the phone number file, be sure to save the file as
text-only.

Subject: [*] CopyPaste 3.3.3 with handy internet tools!

CopyPaste is the shareware utility that was awarded a 5 mouse rating by
MacUser and was their shareware utility of the year 1996. CopyPaste also
appeared in the June Wired and been featured in MacWeek, TidBits and many
other magazines. CopyPaste magnifies the clipboard in many different ways
and has been very popular with web developers, editors, writers, dtp
professionals and everyone who uses the clipboard. CopyPaste can be
downloaded free at:
http://www.scriptsoftware.com

Essential to magnifying the power of your Mac!

CopyPaste has these features:
* Clip Extender - gives 10 easy to access clipboards via menu or key command.
* Clip Recorder - remembers the last 10 items copied via command c.
* Clip Archive - copied data is appended to one of 10 text files on disk.
* Save Clipboards thru Restarts - allows all 10 Clipboards to be saved thru
Shutdown or Restart.
* Clip Sets - Sets of 10 clipboards can be loaded and saved to disk.
Various Clip Sets can be created for different tasks. Clip Sets can also be
sent to other CopyPaste users for them to load and use.
* CopyPaste Palette - a floating windoid that allows you to view/use 10
clipboards in Clip Extender and in Clip Recorder.
* CopyPaste Utilities - there are text utilities, picture utilities and
date and time utilities that work on the clipboard.
CopyPaste eliminates tedious repetitive work and increases your ability to
get the job done.

CopyPaste 3.3.3 adds some handy internet features that web meisters
and others will appreciate. The list of new features is below.

Changes in version 3.3.3
   * Two new internet tools called "EddressExtractor" and "URL_Extractor"
are found in the Special menu (in future releases we will have an internet
tools menu). You can copy any text to the clipboard and this tool extracts
all e-mail addresses or all WWW-addresses from the text and leaves only the
eddresses or URLs on the clipboard separated by returns.
   * Another useful tool is called ParagraphMaker. Unwrap text in any
program.
   * Two more internet tools are introduced called "e-mail Comment" and
"e-mail UnComment". They insert or remove the ">" sign which is widely used
to comment the original text in an e-mail reply.
   * The preferences option "Get all Clicks on Palette" has been perfected
so that it works all the time and does not need an option to turn it off.
   * Many tools were improved.
   * The Clip Recorder now uses less memory.
   * A user request is a new preference to show/hide the Palette at startup.
   * Introduces five new icons on the palette, each of them has one
utility popup menu.
   * If the palette is zoomed to small size, then it also always moves to
the bottom right of the screen and out of the way.
   * A shortcut command + c + z was added to zoom the Palette by keyboard.
   * On some machines with some programs (Excel, Claris Works and a few
others) occasional freezes happened when the option "Get all Clicks on
Palette" was turned on. This is now fixed.
   * A check for presence of Color Quickdraw is added which allows
CopyPaste to run on old 68000 machines.
   * If you type "H" in the Application Switcher, all programs will be
hidden in the Finder except the selected one.
   * The "Sort Selection" text tool had a problem if the last character was
not a "return". Now if the selection has no return at the end, this tool
will automatically add one and the tool should work. Although it is written
in plain "C", sorting of even a small amount of text could take a few
minutes.
   * Two Text Tools are changed a little, i.e. Comment and UnComment. The
new CodeWarrior Compiler now regognizes the "//" which is used for "C"
comments also for Pascal. The comment style was chaned to "//" at the
beginning of every new line. The tools are now called Code Comment and
Code Uncomment and work for C and Pascal.
   * And a myriad of minor changes.

DragAnyWindow is a way cool control panel that enhances the
look and behavior of window dragging. When you drag a window's
title bar and Solid Dragging is active, the whole window image
is moved instead of a dull-looking window outline. If the Update
Windows option is also active, all windows are updated on the
fly without waiting for you to release the mouse. Not as fast as
the BeOS, but definitely better than the standard MacOS
behavior!

DragAnyWindow also allows you to easily move any kind of
window, including dialogs, alerts, standard "Open" and "Save"
dialogs, game windows and other non-movable windows. It lets you
bring back to the desktop any window that has gone out of sight,
or center the front window on the main screen with a single
keystroke. These options are very useful for old applications
designed for the 9" screen (which often use fixed windows) and
for moving modal dialogs and windows behind them.

New in version 4.1:
- A major update! Windows can now be updated while you drag
them, without waiting for the mouse button to be released.
- Solid dragging also works with programs that implement
  floating palettes.
- The Control Panel interface looks much better.

Octavian Micro Development Inc. is pleased to announce the public
release of DroGIF, a shareware utility for making animated GIFs.

Although DroGIF does not allow control over placement or optimization of
GIFs, DroGIF is so simple to use that "my mom can use it."

Simply drag GIFs (made with PhotoShop for example) onto the DroGIF icon
and DroGIF will produce a new animated GIF!

DroGIF is ideal for internet advertising, where all images are of the
same size.

A simple configuration text file allows you to tweak some features, such
as delay between the images, output file name, etc.

DroGIF is shareware $10 CND (about $7.30 USD.)

THE BEST ICON DATABASE EVER SEEN ON THE MAC

The Icon Archiver is an extremely powerful database
specifically designed for easy icon storage and retrieval. It
can quickly scan whole disks or folders and grab all the icons
they contain, including those you won't ever see in the Finder
and all icon archives created by other icon utilities. It can
easily export them in most graphics formats, including the ones
you need for your web pages. Drag & Drop is fully supported, so
you can create or stick custom icons by simply dragging them
around. All icons are compressed on the fly to save memory and
disk space, and archives can contain a very large number of
icons (unlike all other icon utilities which are limited to a
few hundreds). Advanced features include removing duplicate
icons, sorting them by shape, filtering them by size or color
depth, and viewing them in many different ways. The Archiver
includes native PowerPC code and its icon handling routines are
highly optimized for maximum speed.

Even if you hate custom icons, you'll be fascinated by the
number of icons that come out of a typical shareware CD-ROM like
the ones that are bundled with many Mac magazines. No matter
what you use your Mac for, this is guaranteed to give you
countless hours of fun and entertainment as well as a much nicer
desktop.

JokeMaster is jam-packed with clean, funny jokes. It contains no

public speeches, but even for family picnics and sermons at church.

Not only that, JokeMaster contains jokes that are much, much funnier than

Kinga is a gambling game with an Egyptian theme. It is your goal to win
enough money to build a Pyramid which consists of six construction
levels each costing 1500 credits. When completed the secrets of a
Pyramid will be revealed to you!! The game is split into three different
stages - The Begin Stage, The Pyramid Gamble Stage and finally, The
Sphinx Stage. Credits won can be transfered from one stage to the other.
The game is lost if at any time you run out of credits. Watch out for
the gremlins and demon !!!!!

I wrote Kinga originally for myself to provide an exciting substitute
for real gambling machines and it has already saved me a lot of money
!!!! The program chooses reel and pyramid positions at random.

it needs to be replaced (I think you need five pixels to be stuck for

Mac Identifier 2.1 is a shareware control panel designed for System
7.5.x/7.6.x users who can't stand the thought of their Macintosh not
knowing its own model designation or what itself looks like. It is also
useful for network administrators who manage networks consisting of any
7.5.x/7.6.x-based Macintoshes.

Mac Identifier 2.1 supersedes version 2.0 and all earlier versions of Mac
Identifier.

Mac Identifier 2.1 adds a fuzzy logic algorithm to better determine the
type of Mac it is running on. The database of names and icons has been
brought up-to-date as of May 1997. It also fixes all the reproducible
bugs in Mac Identifier 2.0, including the infamous crashing bug at
startup on 68K-based Macs.

Try out Mac Identifier for thirty days for free. Mac Identifier is not
crippled in any way and requires no serial number to run, but it does
post a startup registration reminder. However, if you like it, please pay
the shareware fee of $5 (US). Note that registered users of 2.0 do not
have to re-register.

MacCurveFit is a scientific least squares curve fitting program. Data sets
can be entered into a spreadsheet window or imported from programs like

to the data and the fits displayed graphically. The equations can be
defined by typing them as text and so the program is very flexible. There
is also a choice of mathematical algorithms that can be used for curve

Subject: [*] opyPaste 3.3.3J - Japanese Version

This is the Japanese version of the CopyPaste package.

One of the early wonders of the Mac was its revolutionary ability to do copy
and paste across various applications. Unlike other areas in the Mac's
system software that have changed and progressed over the years, copying and
pasting has not evolved. How many times have you found yourself going back
and forth copying in one application and pasting in a different application,
wishing to yourself that you could copy 5-10 items at a time, then go to
another application and paste each of these items. Now you can with a
vengeance!

CopyPaste magnifies the clipboard in different ways. We call these:

・ Clip Extender - gives 10 easy to access clipboards via menu or key
command.
・ Clip Recorder - remembers the last 10 items copied via command c.
・ Clip Archive - copied data is appended to one of 10 text files on
disk.
・ Save Clipboards thru Restarts - allows all 10 clipboards to be
saved thru
shutdown or restart.
・ Clip Sets - Sets of 10 clipboards can be loaded and saved to disk.
Various Clip Sets can be created for different tasks. Clip Sets can also be
sent to other CopyPaste users for them to load and use.
・ Tag and Drop - selected text can be copied to a different location
with a
single mouseclick.
・ CopyPaste Palette - a floating window that allows you to
view/use the 10
clipboards in Clip Extender and in Clip Recorder.
・ CopyPaste Utilities - there are internet, text , picture and date and

CopyPaste eliminates tedious repetitive work and increases your ability to
get the job done. The Foating Palette and the Clipboard Viewer require at
least System 7.1!

CopyPaste is the winner of the MacUser Shareware Utility of 1996 and America
Online's Macintosh Utilities Shareware Award for 1996.

Startup Player is a definitely cool control panel that plays a
sound over and over until all other extensions have loaded and
the Finder comes out. The sound must be in a Finder sound file
called "Startup Loop" inside the Extensions folder (or in the
System folder if you're running System 6). You can also store
more than one sound file in a folder named "Startup Loops"
inside the Extensions folder, and Startup Player will pick a
random one at each startup.

New in 2.0:
- Support for 44 KHz and 16 bit sounds is finally available.
- A random sound loop can now be chosen at every startup.
- This new version comes as a control panel to let you choose
the amount of system memory to reserve at startup.
- Because of the additional work I put into it, Startup Player
  is now shareware.

Synth MooVier 2.1.1 (c)Marco Bonasoro, 1994-97. All rights reserved.

Synth MooVier is a freeware application capable of producing 3-D QuickTime
animation.
Its notable features are:
    - integrated 3-D modeler;
    - high-quality rendering (Phong shading);
    - complete control over material properties;
    - multiple, colored light sources (point, directional or spot);
    - export of 3-D models in VRML format (1.0 compliant);
    - control of movie quality (fps) and frame dimensions;
    - small RAM and disk footprint.
In order to produce an animation, you have to model the actors in the scene
(by assembling solid primitives) and to define their behaviors over time,
which means you can, in specified temporal interval, modify all their
attributes, as position, dimensions, colors, rendering type; the light sources
can be smoothly turned on or off; and the special actors (like the view camera)
can be managed in the same way.

Hardware/Software requirements
    Macintosh model with 68020 processor or better (FPU not required);
    8-bit/256 colors video card (16-bit/thousands recommended);
    768 kb of free RAM (1Mb recommended);
    MacOS 7.x or better;
    QuickTime 1.5 or better.

This version fixes an incompatibility with EBBE and the initial point of
view in VRML files.

Enjoy,
	Marco

The Indexer is a program which is designed to work with PageMaker to index
yearbooks in a fully-automated manner. In most cases, an index can be
created for a yearbook with no previous preparation. The program takes a
list of names that you give it and looks for those names within your
yearbook. When it ifnds one, it indexes that person to that page. Every
page of your yearbook can be done at once, as fast as 5 seconds per page!
Try to find a staff member who is that fast, I know I never was!! I've done
the entire index for a 272 page yearbook in less than a half an hour
without any previous preparation.

The Indexer includes many features which are specialized for yearbooks.
Nicknames are fully supported and you can use the supplied list, add to it,
or create your own. Class levels can be included in the yearbook as can
titles for professors and staff members. The Indexer can also be easily
integrated with your existing yearbook templates for PageMaker.
