This Dll is intended as a patch to PGP 5.0 for Personal Privacy Version 5.0 for Windows 95/NT. This dll fixes the following issues in the PGP Plugin for MS Exchange and Outlook: - The last few characters of a message are gone when signing a message (message still verifies ok) - Exchange/Outlook crashes when Cancel pressed after being asked for passphrase - Exchange/Outlook sends blank or garbage message when Cancel pressed after being asked for passphrase - User needed msvcrt.dll on their system, or plug-in would not appear To install: 1. Close Exchange or Outlook. 2. If you do not see pgpExch.dll in the smae directory as this file, click on the "View" Pulldown in Explorer. Select "Options." From the "Options" Dialog, choose the "View" tab and finally click the "Show all files" radio button. 3. On a Windows 95 system, copy pgpExch.dll into the \Windows\System\ Directory. 4. On a Windows NT 4.0 system, copy pgpExch.dll into the \Winnt\System32\ Directory. 5. Restart Exchange or Outlook. 6. You may wish to place the updated signature file (pgpExch.dll.sig) in the signature folder of the PGP 5.0 install directory. This directory is usually found in \Program Files\PGP\PGP50\signatures .
